Product design and development firm

After graduating from the University of Michigan, in Ann Arbor with a BFA Industrial Design, Curtis began working with manufacturing. While on the job, he quickly spotted his niche -- the disconnect between Design and Processing Methodology.

A solution-based thinker Curtis decided to open his own product design and development firm, Process4, in 1986. Process4 is a new product development resource for companies, like yours, giving you the ability to find both great design and a streamlined transition into production.

Over the years, Curtis has show exceptional thought leadership which has resulted in 40 US Patents with 20 patents pending covering a wide range of product categories. His experience spans all areas of manufacturing – from very large injection molded or blow molded parts to stampings, castings, and forgings – and specifically Curtis is a sought-after expert in designing for that process.

The success of Curtis’s applications repeatedly demonstrates the value of his extensive experience in sourcing and orchestrating turnkey solutions for original equipment manufacturers as well as for companies with no manufacturing experience. Pair this qualified experience in patent work with his negotiating ability at setting up royalty agreements by selling concepts, patents, and processes and you quickly see why a relationship with Curtis and Process4 are a true asset.

At Process4, you can buy ideas, and receive the benefit of working with experienced manufacturers. You get the most cost effective design with the right materials, process, packaging, and early stage marketing you need to compete.

Curtis is a strong believer in supporting and promoting the economy of Northeast Ohio and he understands the strengths and weaknesses of the Asian supply chain.
